Welcome! This website is a grand experiment, and I am not generally an aggressive promoter of myself and my thoughts online. With this family history project, I am eager to share the knowledge I have accumulated in my years of family research. I feel like we can all gain a better sense of our identity through understanding the journey by which our forbearers got us to our current state. I have developed incredible respect for those who came before me. They endured significantly more trying conditions and tragedy than I have faced and took incredible risks to give their families a better life . I appreciate the role they have played in the great pageant which has been the formation and building of the United States of America. And I am quick to point out that this story, similar to virtually all family stories in the US, began with an immigrant. Enjoy.
